Agreement to these terms
By using Little Stuffed Animals at littlestuffedanimals.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We have tried to keep this readable rather than impenetrable.
Questions about anything here can go to [email protected].
What this site is — and is not
This is an informational reference guide about stuffed animals: their sizes, the brands that make them, weighted fill weights, care and cleaning instructions, repair techniques and gift suggestions.
We are not a shop. We do not sell plush, hold inventory, process orders, ship anything or handle returns. If a page describes a product, that is editorial reference information, not an offer to sell. Any purchase you make happens entirely with a third-party retailer under their terms, and we are not a party to that transaction.
We are also independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer, studio, licensee or rights holder described in the guide.
Accuracy, and the limits of it
We compile every entry by hand from manufacturer documentation, retailer listings, published safety guidance and our own hands-on testing, and we cross-check sources before publishing. We still cannot promise that everything is correct or current.
Plush manufacturing is genuinely inconsistent: sizes get discontinued without notice, the same character is produced by different licensees in different regions with different dimensions, materials change between production runs, and prices move constantly. Where sources disagree we publish a range rather than false precision.
So treat the guide as a well-researched starting point, not gospel. Before you buy, verify the details that matter — exact dimensions, materials, washability, age rating — with the manufacturer or retailer. If you find something wrong here, email [email protected]; corrections are welcome and usually acted on quickly.
Care, repair and weighted-plush guidance
The cleaning, drying, repair and weighted-plush content on this site is general information, not professional advice. It is not medical advice, not occupational-therapy advice, not child-safety certification, and not textile-conservation advice.
Cleaning and repair carry real risk to the item. Washing, machine-drying, dyeing, restuffing or opening a seam can damage or destroy a plush toy, and sentimental items are irreplaceable. Always check the item’s own care label first, test on an inconspicuous area, and when something is genuinely precious, consult a professional restorer instead of experimenting.
Weighted plush deserves particular care. Our tools apply the widely used ten-percent-of-body-weight starting point, but that is a general guideline and not a prescription for any individual. Weighted items are not suitable for children under three years old, and must never be used in a way that restricts movement or breathing, or placed in an infant sleep environment. Anyone with a respiratory, circulatory, sensory-processing or mobility condition — or caring for someone who has one — should speak to a qualified healthcare professional before using a weighted product.
You use this guidance at your own risk, and you are responsible for the decisions you make about your own items and the people in your care.
Using our content
The written guide entries, tools, illustrations, layout and compilation of information on this site are our original work and are protected by copyright.
You are welcome to read, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use, and to quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page. Teachers and librarians can use pages freely in a classroom.
Please do not republish substantial portions of the guide, scrape the site, use its content to train machine-learning models, or present our compiled data as your own. Systematic copying of the guide is not fair use, and it is the one thing that would make a project like this unsustainable. For anything beyond quoting, ask first at [email protected] — we are usually happy to say yes.
Trademarks and third-party rights
Brand names, character names, logos and trademarks referred to in this guide are the property of their respective owners. They appear here for identification, commentary and reference purposes only, which is a normal and lawful use for a reference work.
Nothing on this site should be read as a claim of ownership over those marks, or as any suggestion that a rights holder has approved or sponsored this guide. If you own rights to material referenced here and believe it has been used improperly, email [email protected] with the specific URL and we will review it promptly.
User submissions
Community features, including the gallery, are still being built. When they launch, these terms will be extended to cover submissions, and the rules will be simple: only submit photos and text you actually own or have permission to share, do not submit anything unlawful or abusive, do not include other people’s identifiable children without their parent’s consent, and by submitting you give us permission to display your contribution on the site with credit.
We will always be able to decline or remove a submission at our discretion. Until those features are live, anything you email us is handled as ordinary correspondence under the Privacy Policy.
Advertising and third-party links
This site is free to read and is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertising does not influence which brands or products we write about, and no maker has paid for editorial coverage. See the Privacy Policy for what advertising cookies mean for you and how to opt out of personalised ads.
The guide links to manufacturers, retailers and other outside resources for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices. Following an external link is your own decision, and their terms apply once you leave.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site up and accurate, but it is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, reorganise, add or remove pages, tools and features at any time, and we do not promise uninterrupted access.
These terms may be updated as the site grows — particularly when community submissions launch. Changes take effect when posted, and the date at the top of this page will be revised. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content — including damage to a plush item, a purchase that turned out to be the wrong size, or any outcome connected to weighted-product use.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here is intended to limit any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
