Little Stuffed Animals is a reference site. You can read the entire guide without giving us your name, creating an account, or telling us anything about yourself.

We do not sell your personal information. We do run advertising through Google AdSense and measure traffic with Google Analytics, and both of those set cookies in your browser. The sections below explain exactly what that means and how to turn the personalised part off.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful — which animals get looked up, whether the size and weight tools actually get used, and where readers give up. This genuinely shapes what we write next.

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish returning visitors and to measure sessions. We have no interest in identifying individuals, and we do not attempt to link analytics data to any person. Google processes this data as described in its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Because this is a reference site, it is worth being just as clear about the origin of our data as about yours.

Every size, fill weight, price range and care instruction in the guide is compiled by hand from published manufacturer documentation and size charts, publicly listed retailer product information, published consumer product safety and paediatric sleep guidance for the weighted-plush recommendations, and our own hands-on measuring, washing and repair testing.

We do not scrape and automatically republish other websites, and we do not copy other guides. Where sources disagree — which is common in plush manufacturing, since the same character is often made by different licensees in different regions — we publish a range rather than inventing precision we do not have.

All brand names, character names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and reference purposes only. This site is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer or rights holder mentioned in the guide. If you hold rights to material here and believe it has been used improperly, email [email protected] and we will review it promptly.

The guide is informational. The care, cleaning, repair and weighted-plush guidance reflects careful research, but it is not professional medical, safety or conservation advice — see the Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.

Plush toys are obviously of interest to children, but this site is written for the adults buying, cleaning and repairing them. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Depending on where you live — particularly in the EEA, the UK, or California — you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to certain processing, or opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined in your local law.

We do not sell personal information. To exercise any other right, email [email protected] and we will respond within the time frame your local law requires. Since we hold so little to begin with, in most cases the honest answer is that we have nothing on file beyond an email thread, if that.

Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for handling your request and maintaining a record of corrections to the guide. Server logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostics. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to Google’s own retention settings and policies.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site and the little data we hold, but no website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.

If we change how the site handles data — a new analytics tool, a different ad partner, or the addition of accounts for community submissions — we will update this page and revise the date shown above. Material changes will be noted prominently rather than slipped in quietly.
